Meet Kim Fluit!
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to you. My name is Kim Fluit and I am a coach, pastoral counselor and pastor. Over the years, I have had the privilege of mentoring and walking alongside of people from a variety of backgrounds and situations. On a personal level, I have homeschooled my children for the last 18 years and have a deep love of learning, personal growth and walking with others as they pursue their next best step.
My counseling role began with homeless, pregnant and parenting teens as well as women in supportive housing after homelessness. After 9/11 I began working with a local church to identify needs and assets within the community and form partnerships, which eventually developed into a nonprofit ministry called New Hope Community Ministries in New Jersey. Over the years, I returned to school and completed two Masters degrees (Mdiv in Missions and Theology, and MA Pastoral Counseling). I offer coaching in parenting, homeschooling survival, discipleship, working with college-aged students, as well as women’s concerns in general. I am certified as a Life Coach through AACC and Enneagram Coach through Your Enneagram Coach.
I created my coaching business, Emerge Coaching, LLC, because I desire to see people emerge with hope, allowing the difficulties of life to shape them into who God has designed them to be, and flourishing as a result. In my coaching, I wish to create a safe space for others to explore where they are in life, what might be keeping them stuck, where they desire to be, and journey with them into wholeness and healing. I believe that each session is sacred and can bring about transformation and growth.
